TOTP authenticator inside your vault
AzAd Vault stores TOTP (time-based one-time password) codes next to the logins they protect. Instead of juggling a separate authenticator for every account, unlock the vault and copy or view the rotating 30-second code. Free includes up to 10 TOTP entries; Premium removes the cap — unlimited TOTP is a Premium entitlement along with unlimited items and labels.
Migration from Google Authenticator is built in: QR migration scan on Android, with paste or QR image options in Chrome. After import, confirm codes match the old app on a few accounts before removing seeds from the previous authenticator.
Why vault-native 2FA helps
Passwords and second factors live under the same Argon2id + AES-256-GCM protection. Attachments, backup history, and scheduled backups (all on Free) cover recovery of the encrypted vault file — still dependent on your master password. Android autofill remains Free so phone login flows stay smooth while you add TOTP where sites allow it.
Platforms: Android v1.0.36, Windows v1.0.43, Chrome v1.1.0 from AzAd Solutions. Sync optional via Google Drive ciphertext when you want codes available on every device you unlock.
Limits and gaps
Free’s 10 TOTP cap is real — heavy MFA users will want Premium. We do not claim SMS replacement for every site, and push-based proprietary MFA apps are outside scope. No multi-vault separation of “work authenticators” vs “personal,” no priority sync, no Android WebAuthn. Passkeys on Chrome Premium are a parallel passwordless path, not a substitute for every TOTP enrollment.
