These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AzAd Vault: Password Manager (the "App") published by AzAd Solutions ("AzAd Solutions", "we", "us", or "our") on Google Play (package com.azadvault.password.manager), the AzAd Vault for Windows desktop application from azadvault.com, and related websites including azadvault.com.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The service

AzAd Vault is a zero-knowledge password manager and secure digital wallet for Android and Windows that lets you store, organize, and access encrypted information such as logins, payment cards, identity documents, secure notes, file attachments, and TOTP authenticator codes on your devices.

Features may include, among others:

• Local encrypted vault storage with PIN, biometric, or Windows Hello unlock
• 15 item templates, labels, search, and file attachments on Windows desktop
• Password generator, security audit, and expiry reminders
• Optional encrypted offline backup (.azvault) and Google Drive sync
• Android Autofill integration (Premium)
• Dual themes on Windows (AzAd Premium and Windows 11 Fluent)
• Free tier with usage limits; optional Premium via Google Play (Android)

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. The App is provided on an "as available" basis. Free and Premium tiers may have different limits as described in the App or on our store listing.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with permission of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and that your use of the App complies with applicable laws, including export and sanctions laws.

3. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial purposes (unless we agree otherwise in writing).

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where law permits
• Modify, rent, lease, sublicense, or sell the App or any copy thereof
• Remove or alter proprietary notices or branding
• Use the App to build a competing product or for unlawful purposes
• Circumvent security, encryption, or usage limits (including Premium restrictions)

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by AzAd Solutions and its licensors. The App is licensed, not sold.

4. Your vault & responsibilities

4.1 Zero-knowledge architecture

Vault contents are encrypted on your device using keys derived from secrets you choose (such as your master password and PIN). We do not have access to your decrypted data and cannot reset or recover your master password. If you lose it, your encrypted data may be permanently unrecoverable unless you have a valid backup and remember the credentials used to create it.

4.2 Your obligations

You are solely responsible for:

• Choosing and safeguarding your master password, PIN, and device
• Maintaining backups of your vault (local export and/or Google Drive, if enabled)
• All activity that occurs through the App on your device
• Accuracy and legality of information you store in your vault
• Compliance with laws applicable to data you store (e.g. financial or identity records)

4.3 No AzAd Solutions account required

The core App does not require registration with AzAd Solutions. Optional Google Sign-In is used only for Google Drive backup and is subject to Google's terms.

5. Premium subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are sold through Google Play Billing on Android. The Windows desktop app is free to install with free-tier limits (500 items, 20 labels, 10 TOTP codes). Premium entitlements purchased on Android sync to Windows when you sign in with the same Google account. There is no separate in-app purchase on Windows at this time.

• Billing — Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Renewal — Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the price shown in the App or Play Store.
• Management — You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
• Restore — Use "Restore purchases" in the App on a new device signed into the same Google account.
• Refunds — Refund requests are handled by Google according to Google Play policies unless otherwise required by law.
• Price changes — We may change subscription prices with notice where required; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance if permitted by Google and applicable law.

Premium features (such as unlimited items, backup history, or priority sync) are described in the App and may evolve over time. Free-tier limits may also change with reasonable notice where practicable.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Violate any law, regulation, or third-party rights
• Store or transmit malware, spam, or content that is illegal, harmful, or infringing
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems, networks, or other users' data
• Interfere with or disrupt the App, Google services, or related infrastructure
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, though we generally cannot access vault contents to investigate misuse.

Website downloads

When you request a Windows installer from azadvault.com, you may be asked for your first name, last name, and email address. By submitting the form, you agree that we may:

• Send a one-time transactional email with the download link (via Cloudflare Email Sending)
• Add your contact to our Mailflow product updates list (you may unsubscribe from marketing emails)
• Store your submission only as needed to deliver the email and maintain the mailing list

You must not abuse the download API, scrape the endpoint, or submit false or third-party email addresses without consent. We may rate-limit or block abusive requests.

7. Third-party services

The App may integrate with third-party services (including Google Drive, Google Play, and favicon providers). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their actions.

Links to third-party websites in marketing materials or within saved vault items are provided for convenience; we do not endorse or control external sites.

8. Intellectual property

The App, website, logos, design, documentation, and related materials are owned by AzAd Solutions or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. "AzAd Vault", "AzAd Solutions", and associated logos are trademarks of AzAd Solutions.

Your content: You retain ownership of information you store in your vault. You grant us no license to your vault contents because we do not receive decrypted content. You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the App on your device (for example, processing encrypted data locally per your instructions).

9. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP AND WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components
• Encrypted backups or sync will never fail or conflict
• The App will meet your specific security or compliance requirements
• Data loss will never occur (you must maintain your own backups)

Password managers reduce risk but cannot guarantee protection against all threats (including device compromise, phishing, or weak master passwords). Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties; in those cases, our warranties are limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AZAD LABS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR PREMIUM IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $10 (OR LOCAL EQUIVALENT).

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for personal injury or certain damages; in those cases, the above limits apply only to the extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AzAd Solutions and its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your vault contents, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and deleting backups you control. We may discontinue the App or any feature, or restrict access, with or without notice, to the extent permitted by law and Google Play policies.

Upon termination, your license ends. Sections that by nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law) will survive.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the effective date. Material changes may be communicated through the App, Google Play listing, or other reasonable means where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance unless applicable law requires your explicit consent.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the App will first be addressed by contacting support@azadvault.com. If not resolved informally, disputes will be submitted to the competent courts in Pakistan, unless mandatory law requires a different forum.
