Windows password manager — AzAd Vault desktop app

Native desktop vault with import hub and Hello unlock.

Windows desktop password manager

AzAd Vault for Windows (v1.0.43) is a native desktop app from AzAd Solutions — not a thin web wrapper. Download the installer from azadvault.com/download, unlock with your master password, and optionally use Windows Hello or PIN for convenience unlock. The master-detail layout, command palette (Ctrl+K), search (Ctrl+F), and lock (Ctrl+L) are built for keyboard-first work.

Free includes encrypted attachments, backup history, scheduled backups, Drive sync, and the same 500 / 20 / 10 Free caps as mobile. Premium is purchased on Google Play and inherited on Windows after Google sign-in — there is no separate Microsoft Store subscription for vault Premium.

Import hub and desktop workflows

Windows ships an import hub for Chrome/Edge/Firefox CSV, Bitwarden JSON (including encrypted), LastPass CSV, SafeInCloud CSV/XML/JSON, and related formats. That makes Windows the natural migration machine when leaving another manager: import once, sync ciphertext via Drive, unlock on Android and Chrome.

Dual themes (AzAd Premium and Win11 Fluent), file attachments, and daily tips help you discover features without leaving the vault. Security audit surfaces weak or reused passwords after you land your import.

Gaps to expect

No multi-vault, no priority sync, no Linux or macOS client as of September 2026. Passkeys are handled in the Chrome extension (Premium), not as a Windows WebAuthn vault UI. Family seats share Premium entitlements, not shared Windows vault folders.

For teams that need admin consoles and directory sync, use a business-oriented manager. For individuals and small shops on Windows + Android + Chrome, AzAd Vault is sized for that stack.
