Passkeys in AzAd Vault (Chrome Premium)
Passkeys (WebAuthn) reduce phishing risk by binding sign-in to the site and a cryptographic credential. As of September 2026, AzAd Vault from AzAd Solutions supports passkey create and sign-in in the Chrome extension (v1.1.0) for Premium users. That is an honest scope statement: passkeys are not a Free feature, and Android WebAuthn is not shipping yet.
Premium also unlocks unlimited items, labels, and TOTP; Chrome Archive; and family seats. Purchase on Google Play; the Chrome extension inherits entitlement after Google sign-in. Free still includes Android autofill, attachments, backup history, and scheduled backups for classic password workflows.
How to approach adoption
Keep passwords and TOTP for sites that do not offer passkeys. Where a site supports passkeys, create the credential in Chrome with AzAd Vault Premium unlocked, test sign-in, then optionally retire weaker password-only habits for that site. Sync remains optional Drive ciphertext — understand recovery before you rely on a single device.
Pair with Windows v1.0.43 for desktop vault management and Android v1.0.36 for mobile passwords and autofill. Cross-platform passkey roaming beyond Chrome Premium is not claimed.
Gaps we will not paper over
No Android WebAuthn, no multi-vault, no priority sync, no iOS/macOS passkey clients from us yet. If you need Apple Passkeys everywhere or enterprise attestation policies, evaluate platform-native or business-focused managers. Choose AzAd Vault when Chrome Premium passkeys plus a strong Free password/TOTP baseline on Android and Windows matches your devices.
