Before you start
Chrome, Edge, and Firefox can export saved passwords as CSV. AzAd Vault from AzAd Solutions imports those CSVs on Android and Windows; Windows also includes an import hub that can discover browser export files and read Chromium login data in supported scenarios. Chrome extension v1.1.0 imports CSV as well.
Steps
- Export passwords from your browser. In Chrome or Edge, open password settings and export passwords (OS authentication may be required). In Firefox, use Logins and Passwords → menu → Export. Save the CSV privately.
- Open AzAd Vault import. On Windows, use the import hub / Tools → Import and pick Chrome, Edge, or Firefox CSV. On Android, use the matching import option. In Chrome AzAd Vault, use CSV import.
- Import the CSV. Select the file, confirm the preview count when available, and complete the import into your unlocked vault.
- Turn off or clear browser storage carefully. After spot-checking AzAd Vault, decide whether to remove passwords from the browser store so you are not maintaining two sources of truth.
- Backup and sync. Create a .azvault backup, delete the plaintext CSV, and optionally enable Google Drive ciphertext sync for Android v1.0.36 / Windows v1.0.43 / Chrome v1.1.0.
Tips and limits
Browser exports usually lack TOTP — migrate authenticator apps separately. Free includes Android autofill, attachments, backup history, and scheduled backups within 500 / 20 / 10. No multi-vault; imported logins share one vault. Passkeys remain Chrome Premium, not Android WebAuthn.
