No. AzAd Vault is zero-knowledge. Your master password and vault contents are encrypted on your device before any storage or sync. We never receive plaintext secrets.
Your master password cannot be recovered — by design. If you have an encrypted backup (.azvault) and remember the password used to create it, you can restore. Otherwise, a new vault must be created.
No. The app works fully offline. Drive sync and scheduled backups are optional. You can also export encrypted .azvault files manually to any storage you control.
Yes — Chrome CSV password export is supported today. Google Authenticator migration is built in for 2FA codes. More import formats are on the roadmap.
Android is the primary platform (Google Play). A Windows desktop app and Chrome extension are in development and share the same .azvault backup format.
